William Morris Willow Bough Green Framed Wallpaper in Black & Gilt Frame

Soft green leaves, flowing branches and a dark frame with touches of aged gold.

This original vintage Morris & Co. wallpaper sample features Willow Bough in soft green tones. Designed by William Morris in 1887, its interweaving branches and curling leaves give the pattern movement and rhythm. Presented beneath original glass in a vintage black and gilt wooden frame, the botanical detail contrasts with the darker surround.

Hang it above a console or combine it with photographs and modern artwork on a gallery wall. Its broad, almost square proportions add variety to an arrangement, while the green palette works alongside natural wood, warm neutrals and black accents.
