A grazing deer, flowing water and deep indigo - a woodland scene edged in aged gilt.
This original Morris & Co. sample features The Brook in Indigo, with a deer among foliage beside flowing water. Inspired by historic Morris & Co. tapestries, the design brings fine botanical detail to the woodland scene. Presented beneath original glass, the textured sample sits within a vintage gilt wooden frame with a delicate beaded border.
Hang it above a console or pair it with simpler modern artwork on a gallery wall. The deep blue palette adds depth against pale walls, while the worn gilt brings warmth to darker interiors.
