Golden foliage, delicate dark outlines and subtle highlights that catch the light.
This original vintage Morris & Co. wallpaper sample features Snakeshead in Gold/Linen. Designed by William Morris in 1876, its symmetrical arrangement of fritillary flowers, curling stems and finely drawn leaves creates a richly detailed botanical composition. Presented under glass in a new brown wooden frame, the vintage paper is bordered by a crisp white mount.
The warm wood complements the golden tones of the sample, while the generous mount draws attention to the pattern. Hang it beside a reading chair or incorporate it into a gallery wall, where its gold highlights bring warmth alongside charcoal walls, darker wood and soft textiles.
Display individually or alongside its coordinating companion, available separately.
