Deep forest green, softly shaded foliage and golden accents, framed in warm brown wood.
This original vintage Morris & Co. wallpaper sample features Snakeshead in Forest/Thyme. Designed by William Morris in 1876, its symmetrical arrangement of fritillary flowers, curling stems and layered leaves creates an intricate botanical composition. Presented under glass in a new brown wooden frame, the vintage paper is bordered by a crisp white mount.
The warm frame draws out the golden accents, while the white mount gives definition to the deeper greens. Hang it beside a reading chair or above a console, pairing its woodland palette with dark wood, soft textiles and warm lamplight as the evenings draw in.
Display individually or alongside its Gold/Linen companion, available separately.
