William Morris Marigold Cowslip Handcrafted Wallpaper Card

Sweeping leaves, small flowers and scattered dots create a lively botanical pattern in warm cowslip yellow and cream on this handcrafted Marigold card.

Handmade by me in Surrey using an original vintage Morris & Co. wallpaper sample, carefully cut and mounted onto a white card. The wallpaper preserves its texture and intricate detail, giving this repurposed fragment a new purpose.

Designed by William Morris and registered as a wallpaper in 1875, Marigold combines layered foliage and flowers in a flowing composition. Its use of a single printed colour gives the intricate natural forms a clear, striking rhythm.

Blank inside for your own words, this individual notecard suits birthdays, thank-you notes or a handwritten hello. The front photograph shows the card you will receive.
