Vintage Yellow Glazed Ceramic Pie Bird Funnel

Primrose yellow glaze and fine feather details on a traditional baking bird.

This vintage ceramic pie bird brings a soft yellow tone to a familiar kitchen form. Its glossy finish catches the light across the body, highlighting the feather detailing around the back.

Made in the United Kingdom, it was designed to release steam from beneath a pie crust. The bird shape turns a practical baking accessory into a small sculptural object, with colour that gives it presence beyond its original purpose.

Display it against a dark shelf or beside white mixing bowls, where the primrose glaze can stand out. It also works among contemporary tableware and wooden utensils, adding a warm detail to an everyday kitchen arrangement.

A distinctive piece of vintage kitchenalia and a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys baking or yellow ceramics.
