An apple green roof, a black kennel and a dog with a decidedly serious expression.
This vintage Tony Wood dog in kennel egg cup pairs a bright apple green roof with a glossy black body. A brown dog peers out from the entrance, its front paws resting beneath its expressive face. Subtle ribbed detailing gives the kennel the appearance of wooden boards.
Made by Tony Wood Studio in Staffordshire, with the maker’s stamp to the base, it’s a playful addition to a kitchen shelf or dresser. Display it alongside simpler contemporary pieces to let the colour and character stand out, or choose it as an unusual gift for a dog lover.
