This vintage Star Yachts No. 0 pond yacht was made in Birkenhead, England, and likely dates to the 1950s–1960s. Its painted wooden hull, removable sail and weighted metal keel reflect its original purpose as a sailing toy, while the maker’s transfer remains on the deck. These smaller No. 0 yachts were produced in fewer numbers than the larger models.
At just 13 cm long, it brings colour and an unexpected shape to a bookshelf or mantel. Place it beside books or simple modern objects to give its miniature proportions room to stand out.
