Clear glass, a fluted base and the original ‘PYREX BRAND’ marking.
This vintage Pyrex pie funnel combines a simple raised vent with a broad, scalloped base. The clear glass reveals its hollow construction, while the fluting gives an everyday baking tool a distinctive outline.
Designed to release steam from beneath a pie crust, its form follows a practical purpose. The moulded brand detail adds another point of interest to a piece associated with traditional home baking.
Display it beside ceramic pie birds to contrast materials and shapes, or place it among mixing bowls and glass kitchenware. Its transparent finish brings lightness to a shelf of heavier pottery and wooden utensils.
An understated piece of vintage kitchenalia and a thoughtful gift for someone who enjoys baking.
