Vintage Beswick Poorly Peter Rabbit Figurine, Beatrix Potter

A familiar rabbit wrapped in a red blanket, captured in hand painted ceramic.

This vintage Beswick Poorly Peter Rabbit depicts Beatrix Potter’s character tucked inside a bright red blanket. The folds of the fabric frame his face and ears, giving the small figure an expressive silhouette.

Made under licence from Frederick Warne & Co, the figure combines detailed modelling with hand painted decoration. The warm red colouring makes it a distinctive companion to the softer tones of other storybook ceramics.

Display Peter beside favourite books or a framed illustration, where his familiar face adds a personal detail to a modern shelf. At 9 cm tall, he also makes a thoughtful vintage gift for someone who grew up with Beatrix Potter’s stories.

A nostalgic piece of British pottery with colour and personality.
