Little Red Riding Hood, a waiting wolf and woodland mushrooms - a familiar story on a small tin.
This original 1930s Rileys Toffee tin features Little Red Riding Hood walking through a woodland scene, with the wolf, flowers and mushroom details rewarding a closer look. Colourful printed decoration and red edging give the compact metal box a distinctive illustrated surface, now softened by age related wear.
Display it upright beside books or simpler modern objects so the lid’s artwork remains visible. It also offers a place for small keepsakes on a desk or side table, bringing storybook imagery and the texture of aged metal into everyday surroundings.
