Layered green leaves and a sweeping brown branch bring a woodland feel to this handcrafted card, with a warm linen ground and a richly textured surface.

Handmade by me in Surrey using an original vintage Morris & Co. premium linen hybrid wallpaper sample, carefully cut and mounted onto a white card. Its distinctive texture gives the botanical detail a tapestry-like depth, giving this repurposed fragment a new purpose.

The Brook draws inspiration from John Henry Dearle’s The Brook tapestry and the decorative friezes beneath the Holy Grail tapestries. This particular cutting focuses on the woodland foliage within the wider design.

Blank inside for your own words, this individual notecard suits birthdays, thank-you notes or a handwritten hello. The front photograph shows the card you will receive.
