Morris & Co. Bird & Pomegranate Bayleaf Cream Handcrafted Card, Fruit & Leaves

Blue-green and olive leaves frame a richly coloured pomegranate detail on this handcrafted card, with brown branches set against a warm cream ground.

Handmade by me in Surrey using an original vintage Morris & Co. wallpaper sample, carefully cut and mounted onto a white card. The wallpaper preserves its texture and intricate detail, giving this repurposed fragment a new purpose.

Dating from 1926, Bird & Pomegranate was among the last block-printed wallpaper designs introduced by Morris & Co. Inspired by the earlier Fruit pattern, the full design combines birds, branching foliage and pomegranates. This particular cutting highlights the fruit and surrounding leaves.

Blank inside for your own words, this individual notecard suits birthdays, thank-you notes or a handwritten hello. The front photograph shows the card you will receive.
