A charming tiny 1920s Britains rabbit in hand painted hollow cast lead, with raised ears, a crouched pose and delicate pink eye detail.

At approximately 1.5 cm long, this little rabbit is a wonderfully small example of early Britains modelling. The raised ears and compact crouching form give it a lovely sense of character, while the warm beige colouring creates a softly natural appearance.

Made by Britains Ltd during the 1920s, this early figure reflects the care given to even the smallest animals in the Farm Animals range. The tiny pink eye detail is a particularly sweet touch, adding individuality to an otherwise simple miniature.

The aged painted surface and small losses are part of this rabbit’s history, while the damage to the left ear is clearly visible. Despite this, the figure retains its original character and makes an appealing companion to other tiny Britains countryside and woodland animals.

A sweet little survivor from the 1920s, with raised ears, gentle colouring and plenty of early Britains charm.
