Britains 1920s Patched Piglet Tiny Lead Figure on Stand

A wonderfully tiny 1920s Britains patched piglet in hand painted lead, mounted on its little stand and finished in sweet pink and cream tones.

Measuring just 2 cm long, this is an exceptionally petite early Britains farm figure. The tiny piglet has a simple but expressive form, while the contrasting pink and cream colouring gives it a particularly gentle and playful character.

The original stand adds another lovely detail, lifting the little figure into view and giving it a distinct presence despite its minute proportions. At this scale, the combination of the tiny animal, painted detail and separate stand makes it an especially charming example of early miniature farm modelling.
