Beswick Mrs Flopsy Bunny Beatrix Potter Figurine

A wonderfully charming Beswick Mrs Flopsy Bunny, bringing one of Beatrix Potter’s much loved characters to life with the gentle character and craftsmanship of vintage English ceramics.

Mrs Flopsy Bunny is one of the familiar characters from Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit, beautifully interpreted here in ceramic by Beswick. Modelled by Arthur Gredington, she has the softly rounded form, delicate colouring and expressive character that make these Beatrix Potter figures so enjoyable to collect.

This vintage example dates from approximately 1974 to 1985 and carries the 1965 copyright marking to the base. The straight parallel line marking identifies the figure as part of Beswick’s later BP-3 production era, making her an appealing example for collectors interested in the different generations of Beswick’s Beatrix Potter figures.

Standing at just over 10 cm tall, Mrs Flopsy has a lovely presence despite her petite size.
