Glass eyes, aged wood and an expressive face - a bear with personality on a miniature scale.
This antique Black Forest bear is hand-carved from wood, with a carefully shaped body and small glass bead eyes. At just 3 cm high, its features reward a close look, while the worn surface gives the carving texture and warmth. The standing pose turns a tiny animal figure into a distinctive silhouette.
Place it in a small display niche or beside books and simpler modern objects, where its scale invites discovery. A pale background helps the carved outline stand out, making it an understated woodland detail for a shelf or cabinet.
