An elegant Victorian Willow pattern tumbler by J.H. Weatherby & Sons, decorated in traditional blue and white transferware and full of nineteenth century character.

This antique Staffordshire tumbler features the familiar Willow pattern, with its detailed scenic decoration transferred in rich cobalt blue against a white ceramic ground. The timeless combination of landscape, foliage and architectural details gives the piece the distinctive decorative quality for which Willow pattern became so admired.

Made by J.H. Weatherby & Sons, this tumbler offers a lovely glimpse into nineteenth century English ceramic production and the enduring popularity of blue and white tableware. Its simple cylindrical form provides a particularly attractive setting for the detailed transfer printed design.
