This original 1930s Cadbury Cococub Mrs Cacklegoose figure was made in England by Britains Ltd. Her hand painted red, black and white outfit and jaunty hat give this tiny lead figure a distinctive presence.
The Cadbury Cococubs were characters designed by illustrator Ernest Aris. Made by Britains for Cadbury, the figures were included in pre war Bournville Cocoa tins, bringing the illustrated characters into homes across Britain.
Display Mrs Cacklegoose beside a favourite book, inside a small cabinet or alongside other miniature animals. Her bright colouring adds a playful detail to a shelf mixing vintage finds with contemporary pieces.
