A glossy pink finish and a small curly tail give this miniature pig its distinctive character.
This original 1920s pig was made by Britains Ltd for its Farm Series. Hand painted in pink, its standing form captures a familiar farmyard animal, with the curled tail adding a detail worth looking closely for.
At just 2 cm tall, it is a compact piece of British toy history. It could bring back memories of arranging a childhood farm set or make a personal find for someone with a fondness for pigs.
Display it in a printer’s tray, a small cabinet or a miniature farm scene. Its pink colouring introduces a spot of colour among darker figures, while a position viewed from the side allows the tail and profile to remain visible.
An early farm miniature with a glossy painted surface and a recognisable countryside appeal.
