A farmer holding a sheep in his arms, capturing a moment of countryside life in miniature.
This original 1920s Britains figure combines farmer and sheep in a single expressive pose. His hand painted brown coat distinguishes this version, with painted details defining the clothing and the animal held against him.
Part of Britains’ farm figure range, the scene has an appeal beyond its toy history. It might recall a childhood farm set, a familiar countryside scene or simply an affection for sheep and rural life.
At 5 cm tall, the figure fits easily into a printer’s tray, small cabinet or miniature farm scene. Display him beside a countryside book or among contemporary ceramics, where his small scale rewards a closer look.
A miniature rural scene with individual character and almost a century of history.
