A wonderfully characterful figure that brings one of Beatrix Potter’s most famous gentlemen to life through the craftsmanship of early Beswick pottery. Modelled by Arthur Gredington and first issued in 1950, Mr. Jeremy Fisher remains one of the most recognisable and collectible figures in the Beswick Beatrix Potter series.

Depicted wearing his distinctive lilac coat, this charming green frog features the small brown spotting to his head and legs that identifies him as the highly sought after First Version, First Variation. Together with the desirable BP-2a Gold Oval backstamp, this places the figurine amongst the earliest Beswick productions made between 1955 and 1974.

Inspired by Beatrix Potter’s beloved tale The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher, the figure perfectly captures the curious personality and gentle humour of the original illustrations.
