Cast in hollow lead and hand painted, it measures just 2.5 cm long. The low resting pose captures an everyday moment of farmyard life, with subtle modelling giving definition to the feathers.

For someone drawn to water birds or countryside scenes, this miniature offers a familiar subject with a quiet presence. It might recall geese resting beside a pond or the small animals arranged within a childhood toy farm.

Display it in a cabinet compartment, a printer’s tray or alongside standing birds in a farm diorama.
